Work packages and deliverables

The goal of WP1 is to analyse, assess, trade-off and select a series of EO parameters observable from Space correlated with econometric/epidemic indicators. The selection will make use of a iterative approach of analysis and verification supported by AI.

  • D1.1 – State of the art review.
  • D1.2 –. Artificial Intelligence algorithms design report.
  • D1.3  – Econometric key indicators analysis report.
  • D1.4 – Epidemic key indicators analysis report.
  • D1.5 – EO parameter justification File.

The WP objective is the design, trade-off and implementation of the econometric and epidemic models to be integrated in the EYE Platform.

  • D2.1 –Econometric Design Report.
  • D2.2  –Econometric model implementation report.
  • D2.3 – Econometric model code.
  • D2.4 – Report –Epidemic Design Report.
  • D2.5 – Epidemic model code.

The work package aims to develop
the data processing chains and integrating them with the econometric and epidemiology models developed in WP2 in to a WebGIS system (EYE Platform).

  • D3.1 – CREODIAS implementation report and satellite data list.
  • D3.2 – Image processing chain design Report.
  • D3.3 –  Image processing chain implementation notes.
  • D3.4 –  Image processing chain software code and executable.
  • D3.5 – EYE Platform design Report.
  • D3.6 – EYE Platform implementation notes.
  • D3.7 – EYE Platform software code and executable.
  • D3.8 – EYE Platform integration report.

To calibrate EYE system including econometric/epidemic models with time-series statistical data sets and satellite images from archive and validate the overall system using Copernicus service and updated statistical data sets.

  • D4.1 –  Case studies description.
  • D4.2 –  Case studies data set list.
  • D4.3 – Digital data sets.
  • D4.4 – System calibration report.
  • D4.5 –  System validation report.

The EYE project aims to integrate different scientific fields (economy, IT and engineering) and data analysis to increase and transfer existing knowledge (ToK), by training a new generation of researchers in these specific fields and by building up a focussed network of complementary institutes and companies specialized in the sector. Training, Knowledge Transfer and Networking will be effectively performed as core activities of EYE project throughout the implementation of four joint co-locations and summer schools and conferences.

  • D5.1 – 1st joint co-location tutorial notes and workshop proceedings (Madrid, Spain).
  • D5.2 – 2nd joint co-location tutorial notes and workshop proceedings (Wroclaw, Poland).
  • D5.3 – 3rd joint co-location tutorial notes and workshop proceedings (Nicosia, Cyprus).
  • D5.4 – 4th joint co-location tutorial notes and workshop proceedings(Larissa, Greece).

WP6 will focus on proactive dissemination, communication, inter-sectorial collaboration and exploitation of the project results. Dissemination will be undertaken through the publication of scientific papers in journals, conferences, bulletins, articles, newsletters and trade news. Exploitation will be addressed by conferences, interviews to stakeholders and relevant end users. A web-based management site will be developed which will also feature a social networking portal and discussion board for all the partners. A data Management Plan is part of the deliverables.

  • D6.1 – Dissemination and communication Plan.
  • D6.2  – Data management Plan for the project EYE.
  • D6.3  – Web site framework.
  • D6.4 – Project Exploitation Plan.

WP7 will ensure the efficient management and decision-making, contingency planning and the flow of information
within the network.

  • D7.1 – Project Management Plan.
  • D7.2 – Quality and Product Assurance Plan for project EYE.
  • D7.3 – Year #1 Progress Report.
  • D7.4 – Mid Term Report.
  • D7.5 – Year #3 Progress Report.
  • D7.6 – Final Report.
  • D7.7 – Workshop Tutorial notes & proceeding. Rome, Italy.
